The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
An American flag on the turnout jacket in the Beulah Volunteer fire Department. The well used bunker gear from firefighters with Escambia County Fire and Rescue shows some wear but then these heroes rush into burning buildings while most run away. Thank you to the first responders that wear this gear proudly.
About JC Findley
A little about me: I was raised a military brat and lived all around the US growing up. I went to Auburn University then joined the Air Force upon graduation. In the Air Force I flew B-1B bombers, T-37 and T-38 trainers, KC-135s and taught counter terrorism CQC defensive tactics for aircrews. I retired from the Air National Guard after 21 years of service. I was also an airline pilot for Midwest Airlines where I flew DC-9s, MD-80s and Boing 717s. All of Midwest's flight-crews were outsourced in 2008 and now I make my living selling art and various other jobs in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
